Summit Academy uses a progressive, inquiry-based approach to teaching and learning. We are proud to be the only school in The Bahamas to offer the International Early Years Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum. We aim to foster students who are innovative, creative thinkers and problem solvers. Our program is rooted in the principles of constructivism and constructionism and prepares students for the future of work. Our curriculum offers our students a solid foundation upon which they are able to build at the high school level.

Summit Academy boasts one of the most beautiful campuses in the country!. We are located adjacent to Lake Waterloo in a historic 10,000 square foot building (part of the former residence of the late Sir Stafford Sands). In addition to 12 air-conditioned classrooms, we also have access to a swimming pool located within our campus. We currently offer K2 through Grade 8 and offer our students a small student/teacher ratio. Our school’s maximum class size is 16 students. All preschool classes also have a learning assistant.
